Germany is worldwide known for several things: their typical Oktoberfest or for some of their most world-famous brands such as Haribo and Adidas. Nevertheless going abroad is sometimes a scary trip because you are leaving behind your familiar environment as well as the people you love. But trust me if I say that going abroad is one of the best decisions that you could ever make.

Germany is besides their cosiness also known for their thriving economy. Learning the German language is therefore a real advantage if you want to make a career in European trade. Studying the German language will only have benefits for your further career. An internship abroad to this country will be an enormous boost for your German speaking skills. Most Germans prefer to talk in their mother tongue, they genuinely appreciate it when someone is making the effort to speak their language. In an important future business deal this could perhaps be one of the reasons they choose your project instead of the competitors.

This is actually one of the general benefits from going abroad and not just specifically for Germany. One of the biggest lessons I have learned during my school career is that you will always learn more from doing, instead of learning the theoritical knowledge behind it. Doing an internship abroad has taught me so many things not only about the business world, but also on a personal  level. It will create so many unforgettable memoriest that you will cherish for the rest of your life.

Germany is a country with a lot of variation in places, there are the more charmant little villages to visit (secret escape: Tüchersfeld), but there is ofcourse also the well known metropole Berlin that has a lot of things to offer. There is a great variety of different world cuisines, as well as tourist attractions.
